Hello how are you, brrr it’s a bit cold out here how’s everyone hubby ok grandchildren doing well, Yes

Read to the end if you want to read the added info I put on due to Marandina

gardens looking a bit bleak summers over. I lean resting on my spade. Tell you what I bought at the shops gave one to grandson they are really good it was a dipped flake. Have you seen them? Cadbury dipped flake are wrapped in the same yellow wrapper with the Cadbury blue purple swirl with the word flake written on it bit look on the pack and you will see dipped written in white. I bought mine at Tesco’s last week but yes Sainsbury sell them, actually if you really want one I think the corner shop has some, sure I saw them last time I popped in for a bottle of milk, They cost 41p at Tesco, looked on website last night if you want to you can buy 3 dipped flakes for 99p till the 14 nov.

Yes that’s right dipped flakes are made by Cadbury you always know you are going to get a good chocolate from Cadbury. I have not seen these dipped flakes in anything other than milk chocolate, did you know now you can get the standard flakes in plain chocolate, praline and snow (white chocolate)
These flake dipped are just like an ordinary flake inside its been dipped inn chocolate that has left a solid chocolate outer coating on the flake.

Actually I am glad they make these flakes dipped now as I used to get in such a mess eating the ordinary flake chocolate everywhere these are much cleaner to eat and just as tasty. Better for the kids too you should see the mess my 4 year old grandson got in the other week when he had can ordinary flake. I was cleaning chocolate from his face and fingers he got flakes of chocolate on his clothes and all over the settee where he was sitting. Look at him now little angel ok a little chocolate round his face but none anywhere else.
I bought 3 one for me, one for Adrian and would you like one? As I am just going to eat mine, here you are tastes delicious doesn’t it smooth creamy chocolate. I will still buy the ordinary flakes if I want to crumble them up for decorating a cake but for putting in ice cream 99’s, I think I shall buy these much less messy.

Good isn’t it. Hey did you know they first produced flake in 1920, apparently one of the workers discovered the spilt chocolate from one of the other bars was all flaky and crumbly like and showed it to his boss and they developed it into a flake bar . In 1930 they started to eat flakes with ice cream, so the birth of the 99.

It was not till 201 that Cadbury developed the white snow flake. (These will be good for decorating Christmas cakes wont they.)
And then in 204 praline flakes were introduced, can’t remember when the plain ones were launched. You get lots of flake products now cakes and all sorts. They are great for parties. The dipped flakes that I am really reviewing were first introduced in 2003 and since then I have certainly got less messy.

Pass me your wrapper I will put it in the bin I have to go in now to do the washing up talk to you later, Oh by the way look at the Cadbury web site http://www.cadbury.co.uk/EN/CTB2003/fun/ its got some good info on it and there are some fun chocolate games for the grandkids to play, byeeee

Marandina was upset cos no halloween tricks mentioned but I know one trick I could do . First I would bake a chocolate cake cover it in icing then either get some roll out icing and cut the shape of a witch , or ice a witch onto the cake or make a witch to decorate the cake somehow you could use a small play person doll then get your fipped flake cut off thev end centimetre or 2 put the dipped flake piece on dake in a position that would indicate it was a broonm stick then crumble the small piece you cut of to make the sweeping part of the broom . I f you wished to yopu could use the entire dipped flake as tyhe stick and be creative with the broom bit shredded wheat crumbled springs to mind , any otyher ideas ? Hope that satisfies you Maraninda

Summary: flake with a chocolate coat

As for halloween tricks, what about icing a balloon so it looks like a cake, then wait for the person to cut a slice?
