Having received a box of these market leading chocolates yesterday for doing a favour for someone at work and having not had a box for sometime I proceeded to munch my way through the box. Similar to Cadbury Heroes and Mars Celebrations these are individually wrapped chocolates however unlike these brands Roses are not branded chocolate (such as Bounty, Snickers etc) with the exception of the Cadbury Dairy Milk. Cadbury Roses were first introduced in 1938 by Bourneville to compete in the twist wrapped assortment market. Roses quickly became one of Bournville's most important confectionery lines. For Christmas 1939, you could buy a morning tea set ... Read the complete review

Cadburys Roses have been a favourite of mine for a long time until they decided to remove all of my favourite chocolates. The new craze seems to be taking out the variety and replacing them with truffles and squares of chocolate. If I wanted a bar of chocolate I would buy one!. There are only a few of the original flavours left. At one point they even took out these until people complained. I personally am not a fan of truffles, I know alot of people do like them though. I distinctly remember there being an orange cream or similar type chocolate in the Cadbury Roses chocolate boxes..... Now, they aren't in there anymore!!! WHY? They were so much better than any nut - fudge - truffle - nut - caramel - fudge type chocolate which has come to replace my favourite. BRING BACK THE ORANGE I ... Read the complete review

There always seems to be a very large amount of chocolate around my house at Christmas. This year there were, among others two large boxes of Cadburys Roses. I am not a huge fan of chocolate, it tastes nice enough but I am not obsessive about it. Some people take this as offensive, but I tend to pig out over Christmas time in several ways and eating is one of them. Cadburys Roses found there way around my house this Christmas, here is my review of them. There are two new sweets in this box of Roses, Chocolate Bite and Noisette Moment. Both are good enough, there are very few sweets that I do not like, the chocolate bite especially I a nice addition. But there ... Read the complete review
