Advantages: Nice choice, Cadburys chocolate
Disadvantages: None
Say thank you with Roses.
I do like fancy boxes of chocolates but sometimes nothing beats a good old box of Cadburys Roses. They are not the most sophisticated or posh box around but they do have lovely, high quality chocolates that everybody seems to love and always go down a treat when given or received as a gift.
Cadburys Roses come in very distinctive packaging. The box is blue with big red roses all over it. They come in either 200g or 400g cartons. A 400g carton costs £3.28 and a 220g carton costs £2.59. What's great is that they also do a massive tin as well which is perfect for big family events such as Christmas and then you can use the tin afterwards for storage.
Inside the box you will find 12 different individually wrapped chocolates. The wrappers come in lots of different colours and are very shiny and bright. I remember as a kid collecting the wrappers and using them for art projects as they were so pretty so there is always a use for your wrappers once you are done with them.
What's great about the chocolates is that they are the same high quality Cadbury's chocolate that you find in all their products.
What I love about this box of chocolates is that there really is a sweet for everybody depending upon their tastes, for example there are fruit ones, ones with nuts, ones with caramel, etc. I think that Cadburys do the caramel sweets especially well as they are always very smooth and sweet tasting and not sickly in any way. What I like is that once you get used to the wrappers you know which sweet is which so I always make a bee line for my favourite one immediately.
My favourite one would have to be the Strawberry Cream, a round chocolate with yummy strawberry fondant in the middle, covered with lovely Cadburys chocolate. Second favourite would have to be the Orange Crisps which is milk chocolate with orange crispy bits in it. The bits aren't that big but this chocolate has a lovely orangey taste to it. My third favourite would have to be the Hazel in Caramel. This comes in a very distinctive purple wrapper and has a whole hazelnut in the middle of some lovely caramel in the shape of an orange segment.
Other chocolates include a square of Dairy Milk, Country Fudge, Golden Barrel and Brazilian Darkness. I definitely recommend you getting a box today.
