A few weeks ago I did a couple of reviews on Krackawheat and Cheddars biscuits for cheese and thought that particular section of my literary creation was exhausted, but not so. Last night I went to the cupboard and noticed a packet of Carrs Cheese Melts. I had bought these as part of my usual Christmas stock and they had never been opened. They were still fine as the use by date was 31st May 2008 so I decided to try them. Oh dear! That was a big mistake. They are so nice I almost finished the box! The first somewhat unusual thing I noticed about these biscuits is that they come in a cardboard box not just a wrapping. The box is dark blue ... Read the complete review

Carrs Cheese melts are a real favourite on my house. Boxes arrive each week and get devoured as they are so versatile! They literally go with any top savoury topping you please, just be careful though as they are so moreish. I'm ot a huge fan of cheese. I really can take it or leave it but these are so nice as they arnt too strong and all delicately flavoured with other tastes such as sea salt and poppy seeds which make them interesting to the taste buds! A Little About Carrs.... Carr's have been baking biscuits in the proud tradition established by Jonathan Dodgson Carr since 1908. The Packaging.... 150g dark navy box ... Read the complete review

I do love savoury snacks almost as much as I love sweet-tasting things. I have recently re-discovered my love of "Ritz" crackers and when I run out of them recently, I made a mental note to pick up a new box of them when I visited my local grocery store later that day. I was quite surprised to note that this particular shop did not stock my beloved Ritz crackers when I got there though, and I had pretty much no choice but to select another brand of cracker altogether. The shop in question only really had three varieties, two of which looked really plain and boring. The third variety was by Carr's and these crackers were called 'Cheese ... Read the complete review

I have recently decided that I quite like these savoury light weight biscuits. However, for once I did not have the opportunity to eat them all to myself as they are to be 'shared' The actual company have been making this style of food for years and yet it is only recently that I've realised they existed. The thing about these biscuits is that they are very deceptive. Being so lightweight there's barely enough time to spare before you eat another one. This makes it very to consume more than your fair share. They contain 21 calories per biscuit and 1g of fat, so again they may look small and something of nothing but for what they are you could be ... Read the complete review
