It all slopped onto the plate in a big sloppy mess which looked extremely unappealing. The predominant ingredient was the lentils in a tomato sauce. I've been trying to eat healthier of late, switching from eating meat to a more vegetable based diet. I prefer to make my own food most of the time but ready meals come in handy sometimes for a quick meal. I bought the Cauldron roasted aubergine moussaka for £1.69 from Morrisons, a saving of 50p on its normal price of £2.19. Moussaka is traditionally made with minced lamb but this one substitutes the lamb with lentils. The picture on the front of the pack looks truly delicious with the plate piled high with layers of plump aubergines, potato, lentil mix and tomatoes all topped with a lovely cheese sauce.
