Having spent the last six months counting callories trying to shift the post baby bulge I can only say I am delighted to have stumbled across these delicious mallow filled wafers, made by Caxton. These fantastic treats are an enticing pink and white pieces of mallow, lightly dusted with sugar, sandwiched between two slices of wafer.... and best of all, each treat only contains 50 calories and less than 2% guideline daily amount of fat! Not only do I love their sweet taste and contrasting textures, but so do my kids... which is good as not only are they low in fat, but they also contain only 1% gda salt, good for the little one's!! They ... Read the complete review

~~CAXTON PINK 'N' WHITES~~ There are some foods in life that are very nostalgic and take you straight back to your childhood. Caxtons Pink and Whites are one such food for me and they look exactly the same as they did all those years ago. They are 'Party food', children's 'Tea Time' treats and they have a very old fashioned element to them in this respect. In production since 1954 Pink and Whites still remain a firm favourite with families today. I think mainly for their novelty aspect and also for their maintained low price. The Pink and White wafers are seriously low in 'everything' ingredient wise and will only use up half a point for those of ... Read the complete review

I remember something similar to these when I was a child, they may have even been by the same company, I'm not sure. But I am sure they tasted a whole lot better than these Caxton ones. Nutritional Information Typical values Per Piece Energy 50kcal Protein 0.7g Carbohydrate 11.4g Fat 0.8g 0.1g Fibre 0.5g 0.07g The carbohyrate value works out at a massive 80% !!! So per slice they're not very callorific, but they're also like eating cardboard. The wafers whilst still being crispy when you bite into them taste stale, no doubt because of the marsh mallow centre soaking into them slightly. ... Read the complete review

Like most people I have a rather sweet tooth. I try not to eat too much in the way of sweet and sugary foods, but I have to say that Caxtons Pink & White Wafers are a favourite of mine, and of the kids too. ~The Product~ A single Pink and White consists of two rectangular wafer biscuits, in the middle of which you have an inch thick layer of pink and white marshmallow (hence the name!). Each pink and white measures around 4" x 2". The wafer biscuits are rather plain tasting, a bit like cardboard really, but coincide well with the smooth marshmallow centre, making this quite a nice tasting little snack actually. Due to the amount ... Read the complete review

I have always had a sweet tooth and have become a bit of a chocoholic over the years! I don't really have a problem with this and could eat chocolate all day but unfortunately my waistline isn't so accommodating of my sweet tooth. I've never been overweight due to having a fast metabolism but I find that when I overindulge a bit too much I can really feel it when trying on clothes and so, a few months ago, I went in search of a snack that would satisfy my sweet tooth but be a bit kinder to my waistline! I first came across Pink 'N' Whites at work. I work in an all female office where weight and diets are a frequent topic of conversation and after complaining ... Read the complete review
