I am quite a big fan of these little bars. I know they may not have all the goodness of eating a proper breakfast however with the busy lifestyles we all lead now and rushing around in the morning, many of us dont have time to eat cereal then do the washing up afterwards. Wheras with cereal bars you can throw them in your bag, and munch on the go, or with a cuppa when you get to work. There are so many different varieties now and something for everyone. Most of the main brand cereal compansys such as kellogs and special K all do there own versions.

One of my favourites being the special K brand, where they now have 10 varieties and all of which conatin yummy fruit pieces and are low in fat. Some cereal bars are deceiving as they contain a lot of sugar and additives so are not always a good breakfast alternative.
They usually come in a box of 6 or 8 and are usually on some sort of offer if you shop around, they are ideal to have in your bag if you want a quick snack
