Advantages: big variety, tasty

Disadvantages: none

I am always in such a rush in the morning that I do not have time to even get a bowl out, pour cereal into it and eat it because it takes so long. There is a solution though which means I can still have something to eat which doesn't take long, that is Nutri-Grain cereal Bars.

I really like having these for cereal as there is so much choice, but they have improved a lot since their first kinds.

There are the normal nutri grains that were just a rectangle with a filling of apple, blueberry and strawberry which were really nice then they added cherry and chocolate flavours to these types to. It does't take long to eat these and you can have them at work also.

The next type of Nutri-Grain brought out was the Twist, which are in flavours like strawberry and yogurt filling, athough it isn't runny yogurt don't worry it's a mixture of other things but still yogurt. These are really nice and there are also Blueberry ones of these. Recently they did bring out a Cappucino one which is also really nice for thos of you who love to have your coffee or cappucino in the morning but can't it tastes like milk and cappucion in one so it's just as nice as the drink.

The description on the packet of these is
"A soft golden baked crust made with wheat and whole-grain oats and a seperate strawberry and yogurt filling.

The bars are a clever idea from Kellogg's, I don't think they are anything to do with Nutri-Grain but still morning breakfast bars Elevense's, it's like a cake with sort of muesli on top it's really nice though.

Other cereal bars from Kellogg's are the actua cereal bars like the Frstie's ones which are lovely or Coco Pops and I think it's Sugar Puffs but I can't remember.

I just love the cereal bars and think they are a brilliant thing just enough for a breakfast and very tasty.

These are really easy to buy around 30p in a normal supermarket or corner shop sold seperately. When they saw these bars becoming more popular they decided to sell them in boxes of 8 or 6 which is better value and saves you visiting the shop every day.

Can't say I'd fancy the new orange flavoured one for breakfast; I think the apple one's my favourite (but the Nutri Grain Elevenses are TOP in my opinion)!

They are indeed nice but 1 bar contains a major amount of your daily Kcal intake!! But hey they are quick, tasty and easy too....
