Redwood Cheezly Mature White Cheddar Style

I would not say this product is my favourite food, not by a long way. But when I made the decision to go Vegan for a while a few years ago this really made a massive difference to my diet. Veganism obviously means you cannot eat cheese but the ingredients in here also make it perfect for a variety of allergy sufferer's (lactose intolerant particularly). Tofu and soya bean extracts are the largest portions of the ingredients. They are available on the net and from some health food shops (my local Holland and Barrett stock it). I came across Redwoods Cheezly about 6 years ago when I made the decision to move from vegetarian to vegan. The product is made from a soya base and comes in a vacuum packed packet, that requires scissors or a knife to open, and once open needs keeping in a plastic bag or cling film. It should always be kept in a fridge.
