... count. The pizzas have a prominent crust, which ensures the cheese doesn't spread over the sides when you microwave them - of course, you can put them in the oven which take about 20 minutes at approximately 190 Celsius, but that's just foolish when they can be ready in three minutes on high power in the microwave! They come with a foil tray underneath the pizzas which help heat them through thoroughly and ensure you don't have a burnt outside and frozen inside. But at times you will get the odd bit of rock solid...more

Chicago Town Deep Pan Pepperoni Pizza's are produced by the Schwan Food Company, who have a preference for marketing frozen foods in the United States and Europe. Their brands, alongside Chicago Town, include Freschetta Pizza in Europe, and Red Baron and Asian Specialities in North America. The Deep Pan Pepperoni Pizza's can be found in the frozen section of most popular supermarkets, alongside their other flavours - Triple Cheese, Spicy Chicken etc, retailing for round £1.65 for a twin pack. These pizza's can often be found enjoying a little marketing of their own, being popular in the Buy One Get One Free (BOGOF), and 2 for £3.00 offers - these are an ideal ...  Read the complete review

Chicago Town pizzas are amongst the finest pizzas you can buy!! They can be found in the frozen foods section. They are free from artificial colours and free from artificial flavours, which is of coursea bonus. They come in 2 types, mini individual pizzas and larger pizzas suitable for two to three people. Varieties include four cheese, pepperoni and meat feast. Packaging= Square, deep black box easily identifiable with big picture, also ingredients list and comprehensive cooking instructions. Pizza inside is sort of shrink wrapped in plastic. Appearance= Not a typical base pizza, as the base on Chicago style pizzas ...  Read the complete review

Last night I got in after a busy day shopping and was starving! I nipped into my local Nisa store which had this on offer for £1.19 a pizza opposed to about £2.49 in four cheese and pepperoni varieties. Looking on the back and seeing that it oven cooked in 20 minutes I decided to give the four cheese one a go as I love pizza and right fancied it! The Packaging: Square black box and on the front of the box there is a picture of the pizza and I'm told it's Chicago Town 'The Deep Dish' Four Cheese Pizza 'Full taste from the brim to the base' and that it has no artificial colours, flavours or hydrogenated fat and the weight is stated which is 400g. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gorgeous Pizza! (530 words)

This review refers to the Pepperoni edition of this pizza. These mini pizzas come in packs of 2 and are great for a snack or as an accompaniment to a main meal. They usually retail at £1.77 (Tesco) but are currently on offer for £1 until 8th September 2009. For £1 I think they are fantastic value, but I hesitate buying them when they are full price. Each twin pack weighs 340g meaning each pizza weighs about 170g. They come in a rectangular cardboard box which is primarily black in colour, there is a large Chicago Town logo to the left of the box and a large picture of the product to the right. Inside the pack, there are 2 pizzas which are individually ...  Read the complete review

I had a couple of these very very very tasty pizzas last night and just had to let people know how thankful I am to Chicago Town! My favourites are pepperoni and ham & pineapple but there are other flavours such as the meat combo, triple cheese and spicy chicken. These invidual-portion pizzas come two in a box, which retails in most good supermarkets for about £1.89 (that's what I paid last night). Both pizzas are individually wrapped with cellophane and come complete with a microwave base, which I found if you don't use when you microwave the pizza makes a real difference, as it doesn't cook as well at all. You can cook them in the oven ...  Read the complete review
