misleading advertising - the only topping that was edge to edge was the tomato puree! (Chicago Town Edge to Edge NewYork Deli Pizza)

Advantages: it tastes quite nice

Disadvantages: expensive and not what you expect from the box

While browsing in Tesco's yesterday, my partner and I spotted a half price deal on this edge to edge pizza. We often steer clear of this kind of product because it's not really very good for us, and it can be expensive. We weren't very pleased with the product however...

The packaging is nice and colourful and does show a nice looking pizza with food from edge to edge of the pizza as promised, but it was just a bit of a disappointment. I wasn't aware the pizza was going to be a thin crust and so having got a pizza for the two of us, we were quite disappointed because there wasn't that much for us to eat! There was a lot of topping on the pizza, and a good evenly distributed variety, but it certainly didn't reach from edge to edge. Where the crust usually is was just a lot of tomato paste, which was disappointing.

Taste-wise the pizza was nice and the meat was of a reasonable quality, but i'm not sure that it was worth the calories! It felt really very greasy and I have certainly had better own-brand frozen pizzas. At half price though I can't really grumble, I just won't be buying it again.

The packaging is nice, and it's a good idea to have the toppings going all over the pizza, but the reality is that the only topping all over the dough is the tomato paste! Not great value for money although it tastes nice.

Summary: a reasonable pizza but i've certainly had better.
