Advantages: Tastes wicked; Just like the one in my local pizza place

Disadvantages: I missed the crust a bit

I've just had a wicked pizza for my tea with garlic bread and I really enjoyed it for a fraction of the price of phoning for a Pizza Hut. Chicago Town have used a thin and crispy pizza base for this Edge To Edge pizza and they have put the cheese all the way to the edges of the pizza and that's how it gets it's name because it's pure topping without any crust and that's wicked because the crusts of a pizza are so boring even with a dip.

I had the 3 cheese one and it was yummy. The base is thin and it's not crispy exactly but the cheese crisps up a bit where the edges are thin and that gives it a nice crunch when you eat the pizza hot and straight out of the oven. The cheese is mozzerella, cheddar and monteray jack and it looks dead cheap before it's been cooked but afterwards the cheese all melts nice together and it completely covers the whole top of the pizza so that you can't see the tomato sauce hardly.

The tomato sauce is nice but it didn't taste of herbs as much as I would like it to because I like the tomato sauce to be a bit spicy but this one is just plain tomato flavoured and is nice and rich and gives the pizza a proper nice flavour. I think the cheese is delish too and I don't think there's much in it between this one and the thin base pizzas from my local pizza take away place and they cost loads more!

Even though I like not having a whole pizzas worth of crust I did miss it a bit because I hadn't got anything to dip into my blue cheese sauce, I wish they'd make a pizza that had a crust on half of it and was all the way to the edge on the other half! That would be brill!

The base is nice and is dead thin and has got a wicked doughy flavour and I think the good thing about there being no herbs in the tomato sauce is that you can taste the base of the pizza. It all goes together to make a proper nice pizza that doesn't taste plain like most cheese and tomato pizzas do because I usually go for pepperoni or another meat pizza because I usually think cheese pizzas are boring but this one doesn't at all because the flavours are so strong.

This was £1.29 in Cooltrader and that's a bargain because all the Chicago Town pizzas are dear in the supermarkets and I reckon this one would be about £2.50 or even more in some places.

Summary: A Wicked Pizza That Was A Bargain Price
