Pizza. That you can cook in a microwave. Put those two concepts togther and you have an idea than can go one of two ways... It will either be the greatest invention for lazy people since the tv remote, or a disaster on par with Posh Spice's solo career. So which is it??? Well, I like a good pizza, and I am exceptionally lazy, so clearly clearly I needed to investigate this. My local shop generally has these in the Pepperoni variety, so I decided to give them a whirl. Like many microwavable convenience foods, these pizzas need to be cooked sitting on top of a small silver grey bit of cardboard. (No idea what this actually does, anyone ... Read the complete review

I'm not a great fan of pizzas generally but I do enjoy one occasionally, especially as they're a great favourite of Dave's. The fresh pizzas from Asda are my favourites because I can order exactly which toppings I want and so I can have my ideal combination of pineapple and sweetcorn. I do like the pizzas that are served in restaurants such as Deep Pan too, but I am usually wary of frozen pizzas. I have had frozen pizzas that tasted like cardboard, not that I eat cardboard on a regular basis you understand. I've had them with so little topping that you need a microscope to find it and I've had ones that end up as a soggy mess when I've ... Read the complete review

I love Pizza. Nothing can be nicer than spending a nice evening in Pizza Hut eating away to my hearts content, pizza after pizza, with stuffed crust, swilled down with Diet Coke. This really has to be heaven in disguise..............................................and then there is frozen pizza. These pizzas are often far from heaven. Tonight I was in Iceland looking for something quick for tea. I grabbed hold of some nice potatoe wedges and fish, along with some veg. My daughter grabbed hold of a pack of Chicago Town Pizzas. 'Look Dad', she shouted across the shop, 'only £1.00 for 2 pizzas'. I didn't have the heart to tell her that I've seen these on offer ... Read the complete review

Being on a bit of a budget with the old food shopping at the moment I find myself purchasing lost of offers and most recently I found packs of Chicago Town Pizzas for £1 each so I grab a few boxes to stick in my freezer. I was introduced to these pizzas years ago, me and my mate had a very heavy night and got up quite late the next day with the munchies so she stuck a couple of these in the microwave, I had never seen them before and thought it was very weird to be microwaving pizzas. Packaging The pizzas come in black rectangular boxes with a picture of which ever flavor you are purchasing on the front and the Chicago Town Deep Dish logo ... Read the complete review

I sometimes cannot be bothered with the cooking and cleaning bit so imagine my surprise to find these little gems lurking in the frozen section of the supermarket. Just cook in three minutes it said, in the microwave it said, and will be tasty treat it said. I have to admit I was sold. I took two varieties home with me to try them out. The Cheese variety and the peperoni variety. Both were delicious and very tasty just like the blurb said and I was very happy with the result. The pizzas were a small plate size so ideal for one person's snack and the best part is you get two in a average pack and sometimes when there is an offer four in ... Read the complete review
