Chocolate in generalNewest Review: ... that most of the chocolate you see on the shelves like Kit-Kat, Galaxy, Cadburys, Mars Bars etc. is basically sugar, with scant amount of REAL chocolate just pussing footing around. If you know this and you don't care, then I guess you can go and read something else or if you do, read on. If you want to get your money's worth, go for the more expensive types of chocolates. The EU standards have been looking closely at chocolate in Britian and deciding if chocolate here can actually be called 'chocolate'. Now, I am not one to boycott mainstream chocolate, seems like it would be a defeatist thing to do on this site and neither do I earn commision for promoting any particular type of chocolate. However, you do realise, my good friends that most of the chocolate you see on the shelves like Kit-Kat, Galaxy, Cadburys, Mars Bars etc. is basically sugar, with scant amount of REAL chocolate just pussing footing around. I love chocolate. I mean, who does not enjoy the taste of it! Commonly chocolate comes in three main varieties - plain chocolate, milk chocolate and white chocolate. I say commonly as there are many variations to the theme available, but I will stick to these main three in this review. Chocolate is made from the seeds of the cacao tree, coming originally from South America, where evidence of it being used dates back to 1100 BC. The seeds have a bitter taste and have to be fermented to develop the taste. I find that those bars of plain chocolate with up to 90% cocoa are very bitter to the taste. Chocolate contains alkaloids such as theobromine ... Read the complete review

There are all types of chocolate available to get out there! There are so much chocolate brands out there and so much to choose from. Does chocolate really make us happy? Is it good for us? Chocolate is loved by many people and I am one of them who love eating chocolate every day. Kit Kat, Milk chocolate and Roses are just some of the best ones I love to eat. It is not good for us to eat everyday though as a lot of fat is contained in the chocolates. There are effects on our teeth and that has happened to me in the last month. It can also be addictive when its there but who can resist the fine taste of chocolate. We all love milk chocolate dont we ... Read the complete review

Chocolate in general is a winner with me everything as have a sweet tooth like you would not believe, most chocolate available on the high street is so far from being the original Cacao bean it is made from it is untrue. But this works for me, the modern chocolate regular chocolate bar I.e. Wispa, Twirls etc are full of extra ingredients as dairy products and sugar this for me gives the chocolate a better flavour and makes for what it is intended....a sweet treat! Galaxy offers a more creamy taste and the two leading manufacturers of Cadburys and Galaxy do taste different and have their own unique tastes. I tend to sway towards and Cadburys chocolate ... Everybody loves chocolate. Surely? Here are some of my favourite ways to enjoy chocolate... Drink it! Cadburys do the excellent drinking chocolate. The best way of making the instant stuff, in my opnion, is as follows. Heap two tea spoons into a mug. Mix ina little bit of milk until it is the consistency of a paste. Pour in the almost boiling water. Perfect! I'm also a huge lover of the chocolate that you break up and add into your hot milk. There's a little place by a bridge in York that made me a fantastic white chocolate drink in this way. Yum! Eating chocolate is a great hobby of mine ;-) I love Thorntons and Lindtt and ...
