Go on you know you want to! Pop it in your mouth and gently suck let your tongue caress the hardness of the crispy shell. Slowly the hardness melts away and your mouth is filled with the fabulous taste of smooth and creamy Galaxy chocolate. As you close your eyes and savour every last particle of taste. The big question is one enough? In my case the answer is NO, hence my necessity to diet.

On this occasion I did settle for one from the 42g bag contained in my son’s selection box, but it was a struggle.

Mars make this sweet delight and package them in a lovely chocolate coloured bag displaying a blue ribbon nestling a few of these tempting treats. As I said my treat came from a selection box but a small bag usually retails for approx 30p and larger family bags are available is you really have to share. (Not advisable)

So what makes it taste so good?

Ingredients
Milk Chocolate (which contains emulsifiers E442 and lecithin.)
Sugar
Dextrin
Starch
Colouring
Glazing Agents (Carnauba Wax)
Flavourings (on rare occasions this may contain traces of nuts)

It is only when you read the very small print that there is any mention of nuts so if you were allergic I would give this a miss. I feel this should be printed more clearly on the front of the pack not hidden away on the back.

The pack also has a best before date usually several months in advance this has never been a problem in our house as this delicious treat is generally scoffed rather quickly.

I am still savouring the lingering traces of chocolate in my mouth. I could tell you it was bad for your teeth and added inches to your hips and tasted terrible. But I would be lying!!

Just remember everything in moderation.
