Chtoura Garden is a Lebanese company that sell lots of food products, mostly various types of pastes made from pulses and vegetables. Baba Ghannouge is one of my favourites, coming in a long and relatively slender tin with a simple ring-pull on the top, it has an attractive purple label. Baba Ghannouge is basically a paste made up from roasted-aubergine paste, sometimes it can include tahina too but this Chtoura Garden variety is completely pure, only mixed with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
