 ... £1. The pot itself is a traditional round pot, 125ml, and is decorated with a simple cherry pattern. It is in fact called 'Black Cherry' not just 'Cherry' as in the title of this review. Upon opening the pot, it did look at first as if it were a bit watery and needed stirring a bit, but it turned out to be fine. It is dark purple in colour with visible chunks of cherry in it - if you're fussy and don't like bits in your yoghurt this isn't for you! For the next couple of days the co-op is my nearest local shop, and finding there was no food in the house and it was lunch time, off I trotted to the nearest shop. Just randomly browsing I came across the co-op's own brand of low fat yoghurts, with other flavour including raspberry, hazelnut, toffee an peach, all of which were in stock. They were also a lot cheaper than many of the 'premium' yoghurts, and since corner shops don't stock a big range of yoghurts anyway, I thought ~30p a good price. I could also have bought 4 for £1. As I don't live near a Co-op, when I went down to Newcastle for the holidays I took advantage of this opportunity to sample some of the their yoghurts. The low fat range seemed most appealing, and I have now tried the majority of their flavours. The most recent one I sampled was the Cherry flavour. These yoghurts come in a cylindrical pot, with a shiny lid. Although the images on the lid of the cherries look most delicious, there is no actual evidence as to what the yoghurt itself looks like. When you peel back the lid however, you will see that it's a pale purple shade, with little deep purple specks of fruit through it.
