Advantages: Taste Delicious

Disadvantages: Expensive

I recently celebrated my birthday the number of years will however remain undisclosed. I received some really super treats (well I am worth it after all!!!). Included was a very smart box of choccies. I had seen them before in Tesco and had bypassed them deliberately on numerous occasions due to the fact that I knew that I would show little self-restraint in eating the entire box in one sitting. The name of the product is Cocopia Luxury Artisan Chocolates. The particular brand Raspberry Caramel Bombe. Unfortunately I am unable to disclose the exact price of the items as they were a gift. However if memory serves me correctly they are around the £4 mark for a box of 6 chocolates. Perhaps then for some a little bit on the expensive side.

The Packaging

These luxury chocolates come packaged in an extremely funky shocking pink glossy box measuring roughly 30cm x 15cm. There is a picture of one of the delicious looking chocolates on the front. The outer lid sports the Cocopia logo and states the particular name of the product. (This box contains a single version of a wide range of different flavours of chocolates available from the same manufacturer). The back of the box states the product contents and gives details of the product guarantee.

The Contents

When you open up the box you are greeted with the delicious aroma of raspberry and luscious milk chocolate. There are six heart shaped chocolates contained within each box wrapped in individual paper cases. The chocolates are quite a substantial size with each one containing around two generous sized bites. They look utterly delicious milk chocolate with little raspberry shavings on the top of each one. The description given by the manufacturer is that the product contains creamy, sticky raspberry flavoured caramel encased in a heart shaped milk chocolate shell, covered in milk chocolate and finished with freeze dried raspberry pieces.

The Taste Test

What can I say raspberries and chocolate are two of my favourite flavours so I may be slightly biased in these chocolates favour. They truly are absolutely delicious. The caramel has a wonderful texture and encased in double milk chocolate is just my idea of heaven. The little raspberry shavings on the top of each heart has a very slightly bitter taste which compliments the overall product extremely well. I will be honest and say that I ate two one after the other however realised that they were a little bit sickly. On this occasion I had some left over for another day not like me at all really!!!! Utterly delicious however possibly a little bit rich for my liking.

Other Info

These chocolates can be picked up in your local Tesco store and come with a full money back guarantee. Hence if you are not completely satisfied with the product you just contact them and they will do all they can to put any issues right. The product is suitable for vegetarians however may also contain traces of nut and wheat so may not be suitable for everyone. In addition the product contains milk, soya and wheat.

Overall

Generally these are wonderful chocolates and I would recommend them to all choccie lovers like myself. They do work out quite expensive so I would suggest a treat item only as there are other similar products out there that are more cost effective. I will certainly be purchasing these again and would highly recommend them to others.
