Advantages: Easy to open, lid, and have a tamper seal on the lid to ensure that no one has openned it.

Disadvantages: I couldnt find any.

Crosse and Blackwell Branston pickle.

I usually love to go out to a pub and have a plougmans lunch, this consists of a lump of cheese, or a variety of cheeses, or a ham one, the old fashioned pub offer a half of an english apple, plus a nice salad and usually a lump of french bread. This usually costs about six pounds, so thought that i would make my own, having been over to my daughters and sitting out in her garden. But what usually brings the plougmans to life is a dollop of branston pickle, and i do enjoy this.

For less than a pound comes in a glass jar, with a rescrewable lid, i must admit that i do scrimp and save the odd few pennies when i can, but i do like to buy the proper branston pickle, as you cant beat the taste.

What it consists of, simply pieces of vegtable, Thats carrots, Gherkins, Onions, and of course to give it that bite pieces of cauliflower.it does contain sugar tooand maize starch, and tomato puree, and salt and apple pieces, dates, and mustard flour, onion powder, ginger, black pepper to give that little bit of spice.

This jar is suitable for vegatrians and vegans.

The Jar lid has little circle in the middle, a tamper proof seal, so that you know if it is able to be pressed in then the jar has been openned for whatever reason.

I must admit that i do think that you can have a dollop of pickle with most food, i like it with all most anything.

Ham egg, chips.

In a sandwich with cheese or ham.

It is a great pickle and you can taste that they use nice pieces of vegtables, and they seem to have got the flavour just right.

I will always keep a jar of this in my new flat, i usually keep mine in the fridge once i have openned it.

Thanks for reading and rating my reviews.

Summary: This is really a great pickle and i enjoy it with most foods.
