Crosse & Blackwell Golden Savoury Rice

Packet rice is a foodstuff I often overlook when shopping although it does make a tasty change and is a great store cupboard staple... A couple of months ago shopping in Morrisons, Cross & Blackwell had a promotion on their range of rices including this 'Golden Savoury Rice' for £1 for two packs - not a bad price considering a pack is designed to serve two as a decent side portion as part of a main meal. I love snacky foods and if they can be cooked in one pan that's awesome as there's less washing!! Rice is a really filling food as it's a carbohydrate and really low in fat too so is really healthy for people watching their fat intake...
