I don't like tomatoes so one thing that I don't have with my food is Ketchup (unlike my children who seem to get through Ketchup as though it's going out of fashion). However I do like sauce with a number of my foods. This is one of the only brown sauces that does not contain any tomato. So I was really happy to see that it is now being sold again in my local Tesco - I hadn't manged to get a bottle for about 2 years after scouring many of the shops. I have been doing a bit of surfing and apparantly this was linked to the factory closing in Birmingham and production being moved to Holland. (The label says it is manufactured in the Netherlands) This ... Read the complete review

When it comes to sauces my household loves them and we don't half get through them on a weekly basis lol. I couldn't eat a 'plain' dinner if I tried and I literally cover my dinners (or whatever) in an array of sauces regularly. One I do love of course is brown sauce! Can you beat a bacon and tomato sandwich with a blob of this on?! A big old fry up without brown sauce would be sacrilege, in fact I wouldn't eat it! Anyway we normally have Hp sauce and in honesty I hadn't seen 'Daddies' sauce in years! I even noticed my Mother had 'Red Daddies' as well for use to try out! The Packaging.... Well personally I have only seen this in one size ... Read the complete review

Daddies Favourite Brown Sauce Description: Condiment This sauce has been around for what feels like forever and is easily recognisable. It comes in a clear bottle (glass or squeezy) with a blue label and the Daddys logo on the front. A 400g bottle of this sauce cost me £0.90 from my local shop. it is available in most shops and supermarkets. Remember to shake this sauce before using, it is much easier to use the squeezy bottle as it ensures that you get the right amount out of the bottle quickly each time. This is my favourite brand of brown sauce, it is thick, rich and tangy and the perfect accompaniment to ... Read the complete review

My favourite condiment at the moment is brown sauce. I am going through a stage of having it on almost everything - sandwiches, chips and even beans on toast. Usually im a usual HP kinda girl, however being on a 'credit crunch' month I decided to go for a cheaper option - Daddies. I bought a squeezy bottle of this daddies sauce from my local Adsa. It was a 400g bottle and cost me less than £1.50. Its a very dark brown sauce and very easy to get out of the squeezable bottle. Like most other brown sauces this is a conbination of fruit, vinager, salt and sugar. Its tastes GREAT. It is by far the best brown sauce I have ever had, it has the very tangy ...
