Advantages: Sweet caramel

Disadvantages: Quite tough to bite into!

From when I was a child my one of the huge part of my diet was the lovely Dime bar. And recently I decided I wanted that sweet fix again and so off I went to my local shops, this was where I discovered that they had now changed the name to Daim (I was in the shop for a while trying to make sure it was the right one after all it looked exactly the same!).

The packaging of Daim bar is still the same as I remember as a child the red packaging with Daim in blue written along the top but the D as always looks as though it is being snapped of from the rest of the word with the lovely crack of caramel!

The actual chocolate bar itself is quite thin and it is basically caramel which is extremely hard covered in a thin layer of chocolate. The chocolate is very velvety and has a nice creaminess to it when you bite into it. I also find it tend to almost melt in your mouth giving way to the rock hard caramel. This is when you need to take a hard bite for the crack of the caramel, This is rather crunchy and very sweet but it really makes your mouth water. You'll also find it'll be getting stuck in your teeth but hey! That's what caramels for!

You can buy these either singly or in a multipack of 4. I always go for the multipack as not only do I get more Daim bars but also there a hell of a lot cheaper!!

This is defiantly one to try (unless you have a wobbly tooth!) But should only be eaten as a treat as I would assume that theres quite a bit of sugar in these bars because of the amount of caramel in them!
