Advantages: Tasty

Disadvantages: Not the best

This is a cheese you can spread. I like this kind of cheeses and I use them to prepare sandwiches. Each portion is for 25 grams and it gives you 37 calories per 25g.

They say that one intake of 25 gramms of this cheese will cover for 1/3 of the recommended intake of Calcium per day. Be aware that too much calcium is not recommended to people who suffer from migraines and depression.

I got mine (cheese, not depression) from my local shop for 89 pennies. I am sure you can find it cheaper at Tesco.

My favourite in this kind of cheeses is La Vache qui rie, but I like this cheese as well, because it does not taste too artificial.

To open the servings, you just need to peel the top. Make sure you do not squeeze too much the cheese in your hands, otherwise it will come out on your face with a vengeance.

Summary: Tasty but not the best

I first came across la vache qui rit(Laughing Cow) cheese triangles in Paris and i think they are nicer than Dairylea - i didn't see them here for years. Also the low fat version is lovely.

I once got a nasty dose of food poisoning from dairylea - it sort of put me off eating it ever again!
