Danone Activia Intensely Creamy Luscious Cherry

Description: Manufacturer: Danone / Type: Yoghurt

... was pleased when it came on offer in my local tesco recently. I was actually expecting to be disappointed as they looked great, really thick and creamy, but was plesently suprised at its thick texture, gorgeous cherry flavour and big chunks of cherry as well. They were served in great little clear plastic pots were really attractive, again making them feel more like a dessert than a yogurt or digestive aid. I would buy these again in the future as they did make me feel less bloated and they tasted better than seve...more

Premium Review Danone Activia Intensely Creamy Luscious Cherry: Cherries galore. (741 words)

My idea of heaven is a pudding that is laden with calories and generally topped with a large helping of extra thick double cream but if I ate a dessert like that everyday then I would end up the size of a house! You will always find some sort of yoghurt sitting in my fridge, usually it will be whatever type my discount store has in their chiller, some of the low fat yoghurt's are a tad too weak and insipid for my liking, if I am going to eat yoghurt then at least I want to enjoy it. There is nothing worse than yoghurt that looks and tastes glutenous. Danone Activia is on special offer at Sainsbury's this week and in fact at 99p for a pack of four it ...  Read the complete review

In order to beat the bloat I've been trying various different products which I thought might have helped me. One brand I've been sampling in the past few months is Activia! One of the products I've been "lucky" enough to sample is the "Intensively creamy cherry yogurt". These can be found in all supermarkets, including Asda, Sainsbury and Tesco. We tend to buy ours from Tesco now though but this is simply because it is closest to us! They can be found in the yoghurt aisle alongside the yoghurts such as Muller Light and Shape. They are on the middle shelf in my local Tesco so I assume they will be in the same place in every one but its worth ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Danone Activia Intensely Creamy Luscious Cherry: Nice n creamy (235 words)

I love the regular Activia, apart from the one time I got a bit of plastic in one (quickly resolved and coupon issued). When these turned up on the TV I just had to find them in my local supermarket. Normally, with new products you get a special offer, this was true here too, with two four packs for £2, now that is cheap. They say 'Intensely Creamy' and they are right. The use of whole milk makes them quite thick and they do have a VERY creamy taste. My only conern is that this is achieved with some of the other ingredients, but I cannot be sure on that count. All I do know is that they are very yummy. The amount of actual fruit is not that much more than the ...  Read the complete review

Activia Bio Yogurt Cherry 4x125g Because probiotic yogurt is one of the few healthy things that I like, I always try to find new brands and flavors. I tried Danone Activia Bio Yogurt Cherry recently not because I have digestion problems; merely for the taste. I bought mine from Ocado for £1.58 and it is available everywhere for the same price more or less. Sainsbury's sell it for the same price like Ocado, and you can buy it for 11p less from Asda and Tesco. You might find it on multibuy offers, but none of them is really tempting. Four plastic 125g pots of this probiotic drink come inside a recyclable cardboard sleeve. They are supposed ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Danone Activia Intensely Creamy Luscious Cherry: NOT AS NICE AS THEY WOULD LIKE TO BE... (491 words)

My wife is a bzz agent and recently brought some of these home from the supermarket to try and report upon having been given a slew of money-off vouchers. I was very sceptical about the claims that they can aid digestion but thought I would give them a go in any case....my thoughts; well hmmmmm let me just see.... To begin with, I was not really that impresed. As my wife wanted some help writing her review, I thought I would give her a few pointers by examining the packaging carefully. This was where my scepticism about their "scientific" claims was given credubility. If you actually read the small print, the claims that this product aids digestion ...  Read the complete review
