Advantages: Creamy yogurt, lovely raspberry layer

Disadvantages: Fiddly to pull apart, bit too sweet for some

I have been buying these yogurts for over a year now as both myself and my daughter love them. They are usually about £1.58 for a pack of 4 but often there is an offer running if you buy 2 packs for £3.00 or 3 packs for £4.00 at Asda - not much of a saving but if you are going to buy them anyway....

These yogurts come in a pack of 4 in a cardboard sleeve and need to be ripped apart into individual pots. Unlike many other products that come in these stuck together packs I haven't yet had the adjoining pot lid open while I've been trying to pull them apart. The lid always seems to have some yogurt stuck on the underside - however they have been stored so I assume this happens en route to the supermarket shelf. The yogurt is a sweet vanilla tasting natural yogurt on top of a syrupy raspberry base - I often mix the two together or try and get a bit of the raspberry bit in with the natural part but my mum only eats the top natural part as she finds the raspberry bit far too sweet.

The pots contain 125g of yogurt which is a standard serving and contain 113 calories per pot and 2.1g of saturated fat - which makes them a fairly healthy dessert but probably only 1 a day is required! They are part of Danone's Activia range which purports to contain some kind of bacteria to help intestinal balance - I don't know much about it but it sounds good although I'm a fan of these yogurts for the taste - any health benefits are a bonus.

Summary: Halfway between a dessert and a yogurt
