In order to beat the bloat I've been trying various different products which I thought might have helped me. One brand I've been sampling in the past few months is Activia! One of the products I've been "lucky" enough to sample is the vanilla fat free yoghurt! These can be found in all supermarkets, including Asda, Sainsbury and Tesco. We tend to buy ours from Tesco now though but this is simply because it is closest to us! They can be found in the yoghurt aisle alongside the yoghurts such as Muller Light and Shape. I'm not a huge fan of yogurts but I recently needed to change my diet after suffering from the effects of a junk food only existence! A friend actually bought these for me as he'd heard they were good for you somehow. The company who makes the yogurt, Danone, actually claims their product can help "improve digestive transit" and calm rumbling or bloated stomaches. It works because the yogurt contains a live culture called 'Bifidus Actiregularis', a name that the company have perhaps rather suspiciously trademarked! Activia yoghurts contain a live culture called Bifidus Actiregularis which is scientifically proven to improve slower digestive transit when eaten everyday. I chose the Activia Vanilla flavour which is by far the best; it tastes nicer than any of the fruit flavours (cherry, forest fruit, peach strawberry, rhubarb, mango, apricot, kiwi & strawberry). It is also one of the fat free flavours along with cherry, which lowers the calorie content and is quite low on calories in comparison to other types of a similar amount.
