Advantages: Quite nice, healthy

Disadvantages: expensive, not as nice as Muller

In order to beat the bloat I've been trying various different products which I thought might have helped me. One brand I've been sampling in the past few months is Activia! One of the products I've been "lucky" enough to sample is the vanilla fat free yoghurt!

These can be found in all supermarkets, including Asda, Sainsbury and Tesco. We tend to buy ours from Tesco now though but this is simply because it is closest to us! They can be found in the yoghurt aisle alongside the yoghurts such as Muller Light and Shape. They are on the middle shelf in my local Tesco so I assume they will be in the same place in every one but its worth having a little look about.

They come in packets of 4, and each yoghurt weighs 125g. This isn't a huge amount of yoghurt but it is pretty average for the dairy treat! The 4 pack costs £1.56 normally however at the moment there is an offer on and you can get twp packets for only £3. This is only a saving of 12p but if you are watching the pennies then it is worth taking advantage of.

The 4 yoghurts come held together in a cardboard outer packaging. The packaging is a green colour which reminds me of luscious fresh green grass. This adds to the natural feeling of the product. On the cardboard packaging there is lots of product information as well as some interesting looking pictures of vanilla flowers. Personally to me these weren't too appealing and I tend to be more tempted by delicious looking pictures of foods or fruits on yoghurt packets. The packaging does have a very natural feel to it and probably would appeal to those on a diet. The light green of the wrapper provides a light and airy feel to it too and overall the packaging is very tempting!

The pots are made of plastic and follow the same pattern as the outer cardboard packet. The lid is made of a special foil which seems different to other yoghurts. It peels back really easily and doesn't spray you with too much yoghurt, in fact none at all. Each pot has its own picture of the vanilla flower on them! This is again is really not that appealing or tempting.

The lids can be removed easily and the yoghurt is not up to the brim therefore none is left behind on the lid, unless they have been shaken that is. First of all you see the delicious looking white yoghurt. The yoghurt looks completely smooth with no bits in it at all. It also looks quite thick and doesn't have that annoying watery layer on top of it that yoghurts often have. There was a delicious creamy smell coming from the yoghurt too!

The creamy yoghurt tastes like vanilla. It is a very creamy vanilla however there is a strong sweetness to it too. The yoghurt is completely smooth with no lumps or bits in at all and is surprisingly thick too. Personally though I think I prefer muller vanilla yoghurts!

Overall I did enjoy them but they weren't the best and not my favourite fruity yoghurts. I think I will be sticking to Muller in terms of taste. They didn't help my bloating at all either.

One pot of this yoghurt contains 65 calories and 0.1g of fat. This is really quite amazing for a yogurt and apart from Weight Watchers, one of the lowest I've found. Its worth bearing in mind though that a 200g pot from Muller contains only 100 calories.

They are worth a try especially when found on offer.
