When I became a mother, eating and sleeping were two things I didn't always have time for. I tend to get hungry very easily and struggle to go longer than three hours between meals. As I still carry a little extra weight from the pregnancy I am trying to resist the temptation to snack between meals. One day, when in the supermarket, I found Danone's yoghurt 'Feel fuller for longer' and thought; 'Great! This is perfect for me.' Or was it? Feel fuller for longer is small packaged yoghurt made of a hunger control formula. This means it contains fibre and protein that is supposed to fill you up to a greater extent than one would expect from regular yoghurt. ... Read the complete review

Get in Shape I normally eat Muller Corner yogurts but I wanted a bit of a change and so browsed the yogurt isle a few weeks ago in Sainsburys and it was the Shape yogurts from Danone that caught my eye. Danone is a French foods-product company based in Paris and claims world leadership in fresh dairy products. I know whenever I think of yogurt Danone comes to mind fairly quickly. Shape yogurt is described as a fat free dairy product with fruit and sweeteners. The reason why I was drawn to this range of yogurts is because on the packaging it says feel fuller for longer. A product that's good for you that keeps you feeling fuller for ... Read the complete review

As part of my post Christmas/post baby diet I was on the look out for something sweet and filling to eat for pudding. I saw an advert for shape feel fuller for longer yogurts and thought they looked good so I purposely looked for them next time I was in the supermarket. So far I haven't had to pay full price for them which is £1.43 in Asda as they are on 2 packs for £2.50. I decided to try the 4 pack containing 2xMango and 2xPeach and Passion fruit, each pot contains 120grams of yoghurt. I must admit that first impressions weren't great as they looked incredibly thick and had a small amount of liquid on the top of the yoghurt. Once I put my spoon in and ... Read the complete review

Yoghurts in our house never last very long. My children love them and so because of the number we get through, I tend to buy the value versions, otherwise my yoghurt bill alone would be enormous! Last week, however, I sent Mr Hypno to the supermarket and he came home with 2 packs of 4 Shape yoghurts because they were on BOGOF. I think he also saw "branded" products as a bit of a treat too..... These yoghurts are fat free, and claim to have a "hunger control formula" making you feel fuller for longer. Now, I have never felt full after eating a yoghurt, especially a fat free one, so I had my doubts.......but not enough to stop ... Read the complete review

I left my Onken yoghurt at work yesterday, so I picked up these snack sized pots of Shape yoghurts instead. I had the choice of Blueberry and Fruits of the Forest, or Peach and Passionfruit. I went for the latter; there are 2 pots of each flavour and they cost me £1. Again I assumed that these were a healthy snack as they are advertised as having a 'special formula' of protein, fibre and creamy texture to keep you fuller for longer, and they are fat free. I feel conned again though because they contain aspartame!!! A sweetener that has been banned in Diet Coke in America, world capital of unhealthy food and drink. This makes me distinctly uneasy and even ... Read the complete review
