I was first introduced to these delicious small cakes whilst visiting Stockholm. We were visiting the Old Town -Gamla Stan and my husband took me along to the square to visit Sundberg's Konditori for fika. It may well be worth mentioning that fika is a Swedish tradition of cake and coffee break which takes place daily. This was a lovely little coffee shop in the heart of the old town. I took a seat outside and informed my then partner, now husband to surprise me.
