Im not sure on the exact dimensions of the cake, however it is about the size of a dinner plate (a little bigger than the average sized flat iced character ones.) I bought this cake for my daughters 3rd birthday; she was so pleased when we bought it out with the candles lit on her birthday. The cake comes in a plastic protective dome, which I think is a well thought out piece of packaging which keeps the cake intact. The cake itself, if I remember right was delicious, it was a lovely soft moist sponge covered in a sweet pink soft icing sugar with lovely little flower icing treats on top. She still has the three little plastic princess figures which came on top of the cake and plays with them alongside Disney characters which we bought her from the Disney shop. Every time my gorgeous little niece keira goes to ASDA she asks to go and look at the birthday cakes and every time she announces loudly that she will have a princess cake on her birthday. Being the baby of the family, shes a bit spoiled so on her big day a disney princess cake was the centrepiece of the table. This cake looks magnificent. Inside the plastic dome is a pink masterpiece of a cake. Three of the Disney princesses stand atop the cake in their ballgowns.
