I was putting together an order from Waitrose when I stumbled across these oatcakes by chance. I was actually looking to see if they did the lovely ones from Orkney called Stockan and Garden which I reviewed last week, but saw these and thought I would give them a try. These are made in Ireland and the factory where they are produced is in the town of Castledawson which is in County Derry. It is a family business and the owner is called Robert Ditty and he is the third generation of bakers to work in the company which has been making oatcakes for over 40 years.
