Advantages: Nice enough

Disadvantages: Nothing special, lacks the wow factor

Divine Chocolate is a fair trade brand and they tend to specialise in coming up with rather innovative variations withtheir milk chocolate however they also do a fairly standard milk chocolate with orange. I have had a couple of bars with them, one was their dark chocolate with raspberries which was absolutely heavenly and the other is the afore mentioned milk chocolate with orange.

The dark chocolate was very smooth tasting for a high cocoa content chocolate bar and the raspberry flavouring helped to sweeten it up a bit, the chocolate is nice and firm and is a lovely companion to a good cup of coffee.

I was less impressed with the milk chocolate and orange combination as I found this rather too sweet, I cannot help but think that orange would be a better mix with the dark chocolate.

Their chocolate products are quite stylishly presentd with dark wrappers and gold writing. The Fiar Trade aspect comes from the fact that all of the cocoa is sourced from a farmers co-operative in Ghana.

It makes for a nice treat but apart from buying it for the fair trade feel good factor there is nothing distinctive enough for me that would make this a regular purchase for me.

Summary: Fiar trade product
