Divine Chocolate is a fair trade brand and they tend to specialise in coming up with rather innovative variations withtheir milk chocolate however they also do a fairly standard milk chocolate with orange. I have had a couple of bars with them, one was their dark chocolate with raspberries which was absolutely heavenly and the other is the afore ... Read the complete review

I bought a copy of Marie Claire magazine last week and on the front was a free 85g bar of Divine Fair Trade chocolate. I vaguely remembered having heard about this brand, but it was not one that I had tried before. Divine make a large range of chocolate bars in lots of yummy-sounding flavours, such as white chocolate with strawberries, ... Read the complete review

I bought a bar of Divine Dark Chocolate to use to make some chocolate fudge. I needed 100g, and at 75p for a 100 gram bar this looked just the ticket. Also, it's 70% cocoa which was just what I needed. If I am honest, I had gone along to the supermarket with a bar of Green and Blacks in mind, but this was half the price, so I thought I'd give it a ... Read the complete review

Now, I am a chocoholic. Of the dark variety. If I could eat 100% cocoa chocolate all of the time I would (seriously, give it a try!), but since it is rather pricey, I have made it my mission to find the best and most ethical dark chocolate on the market! I bought a 100g bar of Divine 70% dark chocolate today from Oxfam for £1.29, ... Read the complete review

Divine Fair Trade Chocolate I'm one of the biggest chocolate fans alive. Really, I am. I could quite happily eat a balanced diet of white chocolate for breakfast, orange chocolate for lunch, and milk chocolate for dinner (and of course, a few mint and raisin bars thrown in for snacks) and lead a perfectly happy, fulfilled life, never ... ...Introduction... You will probably have heard of the fair trade campaign led by The Coop. The basic jist of it all is that The movement advocates the payment of a fair price as well as good social and environmental standards in areas related to the production of a wide variety of goods. its quite difficult to write a reveiw on divine chocolate. the name says it all. i was first introduced to divine chocolate when i started running a stall in my church selling fairly traded goods. There are a variety of flavours now, milk, dark, white, orange, hazelnut, coffee, and fruit. I think! They all taste delicious, although i am not keen ... Read the complete review

"Divine" chocolate is made by The Day Chocolate Company which was set up by a co-operative of farmers from Ghana with the help of Twin Trading, Comic Relief, The Body Shop and Christian Aid. The company pays it's suppliers (i.e. the cocoa farmers) a fair price for their products and also contributes towards improving their ... Read the complete review

Unlike Hugh Grant I didn't meet Divine on a kerbside in LA, instead I was mooching in The Body Shop browsing their body butters and natural soaps. Waiting behind a couple of people in the queue to pay my eyes started wandering over the counter and I noticed a box of chocolate bars. Chocolate bars in The Body Shop? What's going on? It was ... With the advent of Fairtrade Fortnight just a couple of months ago (March 1st - 14th 2004) I tried to do my bit and bought a few Fairtrade products to help the cause. Top of my list, as always, was a bar of milk chocolate and I happened upon the Heavenly Divine Milk Chocolate bar while doing my ... Read the complete review

Are you a dark chocolate or a milk chocolate person? I'm a dark chocolate person. I am, dare I say it, also rather a chocolate snob. I don't like any old rubbish. I like my chocolate very dark and bitter, bitter-sweet. And preferably, I like my chocolate with an equally dark, equally bitter, ... Read the complete review

As well as the standard 'Divine' chocolate, another, less 'serious' chocolate bar comes under the Divine range... that bar is Dubble! Dubble is slightly different to your normal chocolate bar - not only do you get a delicious chocolate bar, but at the same time as purchasing a Dubble you are actually purchasing a Fair ... The other op on this subject has given all the background on the Fair Trade campaign so I'm just gonna say about the chocolate. I first tried Divine at my Uni when they had a stall up and were giving away samples. Needless to say I was there several times, their dark chocolate is gorgeous, 70% cocoa solids and it certainly tells! ... Read the complete review

I love chocolate and no matter how hard I try I can’t change that. Some months ago I watched a TV programme about modern day slavery which focused on two trades, rugs and chocolate. It’s not my job to depress you but I will say that if you saw the same programme it is likely to have changed how you feel about eating chocolate ... Read the complete review
