Advantages: Ready made

Disadvantages: Not as fresh as the sauce I prepare myself

I buy my Dolmio Original Bolognese sauce from Tesco for 1.38 for 500 gramms.

I like to prepare pasta, but some time I am too tired to cook a decent sauce and I have to buy them from my local supermarket.

The Dolmio one is not the best around, but it is quite cheap.

It does not taste fresh, I mean, you can tell that they have put inside quite a few things to keep it preserved, but it does the trick.

You can open the bottle and either warm up a bit of sauce, or put it in the pan with pasta and stir for 10 seconds with some butter or oil to prevent pasta from sticking to the pan.

I normally add fresh olive oil and some parmesan cheese.

Probably not the sauce I would use for pasta when my boss comes for dinner, but for a week night at home on my own it is ok.

Summary: It is ok
