Dolmio Stir-in Sun dried tomato www.dolmio.co.uk As the title implies, this is a sauce designed to be stirred into Pasta and made by Dolmio. I am not really familiar with Dolmio since I always make my own pasta sauces, but this was on offer (150g tub cost me just £1 from my local supermarket expect to pay around £1.45 normally) so I thought I would give it a try as a quick meal option. It comes in a cardboard box with the plastic tub inside, sealed with a metal foil lid. As a vegetarian, I have to admit that I end up cooking pasta with tomato sauce awfully frequently. It comes in a plastic tub with a tin-foil lid that is ...  Read the complete review

I don't usually buy this brand (I'm a value girl), but a few nights ago I was craving fresh food, I bought lots of fresh veg and I decided to treat myself to this product because it's plastic container and foil lid make give the impression that it's a fresh product. This sauce was £1.34 for 150 grams, which is quite steep considering the taste and the amount. It doesn't taste bad, but I'm only giving it one star because it doesn't taste much different from value sauce products. I was making this meal for two people and the I found that the sauce didn't stretch far enough so I had to bulk it out with a can of chopped tomatoes. ...  Read the complete review
