... £2.59 but my boyfriend got it half price for £1.29 which i thought was a good price. Most pizzas are more expensive than this so i was glad he got a good bargain. When i had made the pizza and put it out on the plate, i thought it smelt gorgeous! We were eating the Mozzarella pizza which is definitely my favourite one in the range of pizzas. The base of the pizza was thin and crispy and had cooked a lovely golden brown colour. There was loads of cheese on top of the pizza and it just melted in my mouth - it was beautif...more

Premium Review Dr Oetker's Ristorante Pizza: Frozen Pizzas That Can Challenge Takeaway Pizzas! (369 words)

I am somewhat of a pizza lover, and I do have to say that these are most definitely the best frozen pizzas I have ever tried! My dad will even say that he prefers these frozen pizzas to a takeaway pizza! Dr Oetker do a few different kinds: Pizza Hawaii, Pizza Speciale and Pizza Mozzarella. The Mozzarella one is my fave mmmmmm. They can be a bit more expensive than other frozen pizzas (just under £2), but they are well worth the money as they taste so much better and they are of much better quality. These pizzas can often go on special offer at supermarkets and can sometimes sell for under £1 so keep an eye out and grab a bargain! Sometimes I like ...  Read the complete review

I do like Dr Oetker's Ristorante Pizza especially the peperroni variety however I tend to only buy them when they are on special offer at Tesco when they can be either £2.50 or £3.00 for two which is still more expensive than the Tesco own brand but these are much nicer. The thing is with pixxa and I do not like the deep crust ones, I prefer my pizza to be thin crust as I find the thick cut ones heavy going. Dr Oetker's is the thin crust variety and one pizza can easily serve two and possibly three people and goes well ith a side salad. They take between fifteen and twenty minutes to cook in the oven from frozen. When they come out of the oven they ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Dr Oetker's Ristorante Pizza: Pizza - mmm yea please! (311 words)

As you may have noticed from some of my other reviews, i am a big pizza lover and could eat truck loads of the stuff. It is my favourite type of food and probably the one that i am most likely to break my diet for. I cant eat very much pizza at the moment as im trying to lose a bit of weight. My boyfriend brought home a pizza from Iceland last night for our dinner and i just had a tiny little bit of it as it looked gorgeous. The pizza he brought home for us was Dr Oetker's Ristorante Pizza. It normally costs around £2.59 but my boyfriend got it half price for £1.29 which i thought was a good price. Premium Review The most delicious pizza in the supermarket! (407 words)

These Ristorante pizzas are by far, the best in the supermarket! I don't really buy frozen pizza often and used to just enjoy the odd takeaway one or one made on the counter at Asda but I have to say that these Dr Oetker pizzas are better than takeaway ones! These particular pizzas can be bought in Tesco or Asda ad are kept in thew freezer section. They aren't the cheapest around but are mostly on offer at 2 pizzas for £3.00 which is not too bad. To buy individually they cost around £2.18. In my opinion, they are well worth the money as a standard takeaway one costs over £5.00 nowadays. These pizzas come in large flat boxes with all nutritional ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Dr Oetker's Ristorante Pizza: close to restaurant pizza (520 words)

Normally - when I'm coping well with everything and not feeling run ragged I make my own pizza from scratch (well the breadmaker does the dough bit but you know what I mean). At the moment, I've been too tired to do this and having been given a couple of coupons for £1 off these pizzas AND then noticing them in Tesco on 2 for £4 while I still had the coupons in my purse I cheated and bought some pizzas! For me most frozen pizzas are a bit bland, but I was actually quite impressed with these. The base is thin and crispy without being cardboard like, and the pizza cooks well in the oven. I'm not very trusting of what they say on cooking instructions so gave ...  Read the complete review
