Advantages: Great for decorating cakes, biscuits and Ice cream

Disadvantages: Small and silver comes off if left too long

This little tub is something I always have in my cupboard - as they can add a little edible "bling" to any dessert or cake.

They really are what they say on the tin - silver balls. The balls are about the size of a small ball bearing and come in small tub which is only 5cm high and weighs 30g - so they don't take up much space in the cupboard.

The tub must contain over 100 balls (sorry I didn't count them) and add a real sparkle to cakes and ice cream.

They do come with an allergy warning - so do have a close look at the label if you are in anyway allergic to some products. (Gluten and sulphur Dioxide in particular on this product).

If you do put them on ice cream or other puddings do it just before you serve it otherwise you may find that the silver comes off and you are left with just a plain white ball - which doesn't look anywhere near as nice.!!

They are quite hard to bite into but do disolve in the mouth.

Summary: A great , cheap decoration for cakes, biscuits and desserts
