Description Duc d'o truffles are a really tasty sausage shaped chocolate truffles in lovely flaky chocolate coating. I find these chocolate big enough to take at least 2 bites, the large amount of soft, light truffle centre sits well inside the solid chocolate shell. There is also a dark chocolate variety of the duc d'o, which is my favourite chocolate ever. The dark chocolate coating is not at all bitter and the milk chocolate inside means it is not too rich. However, it is very rare in shops, so you will be lucky to have the opportunity to buy them unless you search online. Availability You can by this 250g box of milk chocolate ... My mother has always been a truffle fan and around 10 years ago she got me hooked too. Truffles are my favourite type of chocolate by a mile and have tried pretty much every variety of truffle you could find but none could possibly beat the taste of Ducd'o Milk Chocolate Truffles. Chocolate Heaven!!!!! For chocoholics such as myself i am very picky about my chocolate but i fell in love with these straight away after receiving them as a gift. The chocolates come in either a white cardboard box or tin (though obviously you pay more for the tins) with two layers of gorgeous milk chocolate truffles inside two plastic black trays within the box. Each truffle ... Read the complete review

I was first bought a small box of these truffles about 3 years ago for my birthday and I absolutely loved them! The chocolate seemed to be so creamy and just melted in your mouth! There was only about 6 in a small box so they went very quickly and I decided I would have to have some more! So for Christmas my boyfriend decided to buy me a huge box of Duc d'O chocolates which consisted of about 4 differents boxes in one. I was so excited when I saw them but when I opened them and tried them later I was a little disappointed. The truffles were nice, but didn't seem as nice as they had been previously - they tasted a little bland. The white ... Read the complete review

I do not normally review food products but I thought I would make an exception just this once for my favourite truffles. I treated myself to a small slim box containing five of these truffles in Tesco last week because they were clearing this small gift size box for only 47p instead of the usual 99p. Larger boxes of these truffles remain on sale for a few pounds a box, no more than you would expect to pay for a box of Milk Tray for example. The reason I love these chocolates more than any others is the amazing texture they have. You bite into a firm, thick milk chocolate outer layer that is covered in smooth flakes and then hit a rich milky chocolate mousse ... Read the complete review

I am always wanting to find new chocolates to eat as it can get boring with the same old Cadbury’s Roses, Celebrations tins etc. So, I was in my local Tesco and was looking for some sweets when I was noticing the Thorntons chocolate selections, I then scanned the prices and noticed 99p and no, it wasn’t some cheap old saver box but in fact something nice. Ducd’O Truffles are in fact Belgian chocolates and judging by the box they looked pretty nice. It was 99p for the 65g box and it looked like it would just be enough so I went to the til and paid. Normally Belgian chocolates are quite expensive so this made me wonder if they maybe wouldn’t be up to the usual ... Read the complete review
