When I was in the airport in Trondheim, my plane was delayed. To keep us all quiet they gave us all a £20 meal voucher to spend (which doesn't get you very far in a Norwegian airport!) One of the things I bought with my voucher was this 'Eat Natural Almonds, Apricots and Yoghurt Coating'. I have tried other Eat Natural bars before and really liked them, so I was very excited about trying this one! The bar comes in a plastic wrapper which is see-through at either end so you can see what you will be eating, and with a solid block of orange colour in the middle with 'Eat Natural' written in large letters over the length of the wrapper. Underneath that is what ... Read the complete review

I was in the supermarket this week, trying to find items which are less fatty and lower GI to snack on at my desk during the day. I find that I need something to graze on mid morning and afternoon just to break the day up and ensure I am spreading my weight watchers points across the day as I should be. I saw these triple pack boxes of bars that I have sometimes purchased loose from shops like Holland & Barrett and while I hadnt tried this particular version before I thought it would be worth giving it a go while they were on special offer in Sainsbury's (£1.50 for the box of 3 where usually I pay 75p per bar). I bought one into work with me ... Read the complete review

These bars by Eat Natural are available in a box, as shown above, or individually. I doubt there is any difference, but for clarity I am reviewing one that I bought individually. Firstly I want to say that this product contains nuts. Why did I buy this bar? I bought this bar in Holland & Barrett for about 75p. I was browsing and I fnacied a little treat. There were lots of cereal bars to choose from, and about seven in the Eat Natural range. I like the name and the suggestion that the product is good for you (there is sugar in it but there are also natural ingredients like dried apricots and almonds) and I liked the fact that you can ... Every time I walked past the shelves that contained all the chocolate and crips, it was never the chocolate bars that called out to me, nor was it the big bag of salty crisps. It always seemed to be the Eat Natural bars, though I always dismissed this attention and carried on. Though one day I decided to give the bars a try. There were three I could have chosen from, and went for the Apricot, Almnd and Yoghurt bar. The bar comes in a clear packet so you can see through to the product, with 'Eat Natural' written on it. There was also a yellow strip to help you identify the option form a distance. It sounded quite delicious, so I decided this was the one to go ... Read the complete review

I am training for the London Marathon in a few weeks time, and in the build up to it have entered some shorter distance races. At the end of one of these such races last week, I received a goody bag along with my much deserved medal, and in amongst the bits and pieces that the bag contained was a sample size (half size) bar of Eat Natural Almond Apricot and Yoghurt bar. I have to admit, that at that time, due to having just run a good number of miles during the middle of the day, I was really really hungry, and so wolfed down the said cereal bar without taking too much notice of it - I don't think it even had time to touch the sides, but it was sweet and delicious, ...
