Advantages: delicios, healthy
Disadvantages: .
Every time I walked past the shelves that contained all the chocolate and crips, it was never the chocolate bars that called out to me, nor was it the big bag of salty crisps. It always seemed to be the Eat Natural bars, though I always dismissed this attention and carried on. Though one day I decided to give the bars a try. There were three I could have chosen from, and went for the Apricot, Almnd and Yoghurt bar.
The bar comes in a clear packet so you can see through to the product, with 'Eat Natural' written on it. There was also a yellow strip to help you identify the option form a distance. It sounded quite delicious, so I decided this was the one to go for. The single bar cost me 55p from Tesco, which didn't seem such a bad price for something that was apparently healthy for me. With that, I took it home!
I tore open the end of the bar and pulled off a chunk. Biting into it my teeth sank right into the sticky bar, chewing into the pieces of almonds and apricots. The pieces were a fair size, and quite visible too. Throughout the bar I found they were evenly distributed, so you did not have to chew your way through a fruity part only to reach a flimsy part. The yoghurt coating was a good thickness too, and was quite sweet, almost of vanilla. I think, without this part, it would have been a little dry. It reminded me of a cereal bar I once had, but which I had dropped on the ground by accident when I was a bit younger...I never did find them again, and I cant remember their name either! Maybe it WAS an Eat Natural Bar, and it had left such a good imprint on my mind all these years later -it must be good!
Yes, these are supposed to be heathly, but are they so? It is a bar made of nuts and fruit, what more could you ask for? Each bar has 220 calories and 12g fat. That really is not a lot for something that is both delicious and filling! It is great for grabbing on the go ifyou forget to have breakfast too!
This is a delicious and healthy snack and a much better option that than chocolate bar you are automatically reaching for! Eat right, Eat Natural!
