Advantages: Taste is wonderful, natural ingredients
Disadvantages: Maybe a little pricey, no nutrirional information on my bar!
When I was in the airport in Trondheim, my plane was delayed. To keep us all quiet they gave us all a £20 meal voucher to spend (which doesn't get you very far in a Norwegian airport!) One of the things I bought with my voucher was this 'Eat Natural Almonds, Apricots and Yoghurt Coating'. I have tried other Eat Natural bars before and really liked them, so I was very excited about trying this one!
The bar comes in a plastic wrapper which is see-through at either end so you can see what you will be eating, and with a solid block of orange colour in the middle with 'Eat Natural' written in large letters over the length of the wrapper. Underneath that is what type of bar it is (in this case almonds, apricots and yoghurt coating). I really like the packaging, the orange colour and font used does seem to make the bar stand out from others on the shelf.
As soon as you see the large letters on the wrapper saying 'Eat Natural', you can't help but thinking this is a healthy bar! On the wrapper it also states that there are no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives in the bar, which I think is really good.. and a nice change!
The bar weighs 50g and is around 12cm in length and is nice and thick at around 2cm.
The bar is absolutely delicious. As soon as you bite into it is quite nice and soft and the yoghurt is the first thing you taste and is lovely and sweet. The bar is chewy, but crunchy at the same time with the nuts in it. I can really taste the coconut in the bar and I think it really compliments the apricots and yoghurt. You get such a wonderful array of flavours in the bar and I really like it. I think this is my favourite Eat Natural bar I have tried and I will definitely be buying it again (though not at Norwegian airport prices!)
If you hands are quite warm the yoghurt coating can start melting a bit like chocolate, so it might be best to munch it out of the wrapper to save getting sticky hands!
There are not many ingredients in the bar, only yoghurt coating, dried apricots, almonds, shredded coconut, glucose syrup, puffed rice and honey which I think it is good as it seems like a no nonsense sort of bar.
The only thing that annoyed me a little about my individual bar is that it didn't have any nutritional information on it so I wasn't too sure how many calories or fat was in the bar.
You can buy these from most supermarkets in packs of three for around £1.90, or you can also buy them individually for around 70p each. They are suitable for vegetarians and gluten free, but they contain nuts and milk so are not suitable for everyone.
I think these bars were delicious, and at 50g they are quite filling and perfect for a snack to keep you going until lunch or dinner. The flavour of this bar is delicious and I would highly recommend them.
Summary: A Natural Beauty!
