When it comes to my meals the spicier the better is my motto. I really am a saucy bird and I find it almost impossible to munch foods without a whole range of sauces on my plate! I do love sweet chilli dipping sauces and own a couple in my cupboard and it's something my Mother gets me weekly in the shopping and this one is a frequent visitor! The Packaging.... 220ml with a red plastic screw on/off lid at the top. It's a squarish glass see-through bottle with a light blue sticky label to the front and on the back of it and a blue label around the neck of the bottle that covers the lid and you rip it off to get to the product the first time you go to ... I'm not a fan of British blandness and try to make my food as exciting and adventurous as I possibly can whilst sticking to my student budget. I had been looking for a really good 'party' dip for my food for a while only to be disappointed by some manufacturer's feeble products. Then I discovered 'Encona' sauces whose aim is to bring the 'full flavour of the Caribbean to all corners of the country and beyond' - I wasn't disappointed. *~Taste Test~* I first bought this for use with spring rolls, sesame toast and prawn crackers and loved it. As the name suggests, it is pleasantly sweet whilst being somewhat spicy. It leaves a nice tingle in ... Read the complete review

I'm not much of a fan of bland food. In fact I thin it takes away from the whole eating experience and ruins my meal. I mean what's the point of eating something if you're just shovelling it in your mouth and not tasting anything? I sometimes have fresh chillis on hand to add some spice to a dish but they go off and it's handy to have a bottle of something on hand that will last for ages. I first discovered Encona Sweet Thai Chilli sauce when I was backpacking in New Zealand in 2003. I was running out of money fast and was looking for something cheap and easy. When you're travelling you need something that you can shove in your backpack and leave there without ... Read the complete review
