... chocolate, with a thick creamy taste. It is sweet without being sickly, and the texture is a smooth paste. The hazelnuts just give a hint of nuttiness without the nutty flavour being overwhelming - my three year old says he doesn't like nuts (but then he says he doesn't like lots of things) and he has never noticed anything but the chocolate taste that he wants to experience from the product. It tastes like the inside of a Ferrero Rocher chocolate - perhaps unsurprisingly when you consider they are made by the same com...more

Premium Review Ferrero Nutella: Nutella: Why have a fella? (626 words)

Now, being a hardened chocolate fiend, I am not ashamed to admit that I happily devour Nutella by the spoonful. I ostensibly bought my last jar so that my 4 year old daughter could experience the delights of this creamed chocolate and hazelnut combo. I mean, what kind of mother would I be if I didnt introduce my offspring to the wonder of eating liquid chocolate out of the jar-this is the stuff dreams are made of! Ok, so my daughter got a lick of the spoon once, maybe twice, but I would repeatedly creep into the kitchen to get my fix, and within days the jar was empty. Do I need help? *What is Nutella?*: Nutella is a delicious creamy ...  Read the complete review

I can't believe that I was the person who had to ask for this item to be added to DooYoo! I would have thought that all the chocoholics out there would have already asked for this. But apparently, I was the first person to think of it, so here I am, telling you about Nutella. First of all, I don't have a jar of this with me, so I don't have the list of ingrediants for you. However, you can get all this information at http://www.nutellausa.com/info.htm if you're interested. Basically, this creamy spread is made mostly of cocoa, milk and hazelnuts. Of course, there are other things like sugar, so this certainly isn't any diet food. I hear ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Ferrero Nutella: An ode to Nutella - yummy, chocolatey and 'good' for you (603 words)

Nutella has always been one of those treats that I try not to have in the house. I could quite happily eat it straight from the jar with a spoon, trying to convince myself that calories don't count if you eat it standing up, so I attempt to resist temptation by simply not buying it. I've tried to keep it an occasional treat, as something I only eat when I find a mini tub on the breakfast buffet on holiday, but pregnancy cravings have meant that my resistance has crumbled and Nutella is now a permanent resident in my kitchen cupboards. For anyone who hasn't yet succumbed to the temptation of Nutella, it is a chocolate and hazelnut spread which was founded in ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review There's nuttin' like it! (insert facepalm here) (370 words)
by - written on 25/10/09 (Very useful, 17 readings)

Along with ham sandwiches Nutella has become one of my staple meals, mainly because I'm very lazy and need a healthy dose of sugar in the morning before I'm capable of even the most basic physiological functions. Then again that's probably a bit of placebo effect, since Nutella doesn't really have that much sugar in it. Yeah, my mind is stupid. Stupid mind... Nutella is basically one of five trillion thousand brands of chocolate spread, except this one is actually nice and doesn't leave you with a crippling sense of self disgust after attacking it with a spoon. The spread actually has a very low fat content, only being 80 calories per 15 grams, and ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Ferrero Nutella: Leaves you full of energy! (312 words)

In what other way could you get away with having chocolate for breakfast? What would normally be seen as obscene, is now common practice, and in some cases is actively encouraged as a healthy energy packed breakfast for kids. And who can forget the jars that it comes in? Small glass containers, that once you had finished with the spread inside, you could clean them out and use them as actual glasses! Our cupboard is full of Nutella glasses! It is a hazelnut spread, which shouldn't really be classed as a chocolate spread due to its low chocolate content. It is made from skimmed milk powder and low fat cocoa powder, and works out at about 80 ...  Read the complete review
