I don't like Ferrero Rocher (and therefore always buy them for my family, not because I'm mean but because it's a guaranteed gift I won't then help myself to) but I do like Nutella, which is also made by them, so I keep an open mind when it comes to new products bearing the Ferrero name. I had been seeing these everywhere for months, but only in large boxes which I couldn't justify buying merely to satisfy my curiosity. Recently, however, I found them on sale in small tube boxes, and decided for 35 pesos, or £1.75, I could finally try them. Rondnoir chocolates look a bit like the Rocher ones, in that they are small balls, individually wrapped and each seated ... Read the complete review

I ate my first Ferrero Rondnoir about 56 min and 47 seconds ago, and it was heavenly! Could it have been the lack of food in the last five hours, or are these the best thing to ever have been packed up in a box and sealed with plastic? Well maybe my hunger has made me a little biased, but I was in chocolate heaven, when I bit into this scrumptious dark treat. Description: Packaged in a smart little box, there are 12 chocolates in the tray, they are wrapped in an elegant brown foil and sit in the typical Rocher fluted cups, looking as elegant as the queen. For those of you who think that these may be similar to the ... Read the complete review

Don't mess with perfection, that's what I say. Ferrero Rocher to me are pretty much one of the best chocolates around what with their lovely mix of chocolate, hazelnut and wafer. I know they are not to everyone's taste but the texture and the fun gold wrapper to me all add to the beautiful chocolate experience. And who can forget the classic ambassador's reception advertising used back in the 80's with the line, "Monsieur, with these Rocher you are really spoiling us!! Ferrero Rocher are the upper class chocolate, meant for only people worthy of going to an Ambassador's reception. Ferrero Rocher was a brand that people were meant to aspire to, the ... I am the world's biggest chocaholic and a big fan of Ferrero Rocher in particular so it came as something as a surprise to me recently when I discovered Ferrero make other products as well. Browsing at our local market on Tuesday I came across a product called Ferrero Rondnoir at the very attractive price of £2. Obviously I had to buy them. Looking at the box it appeared that the chocolates were similar to a Ferrero Rocher, only using dark chocolate. The back of the box gave the information that it held a "fine chocolate covered speciality with a smooth dark chocolate centre" which was a little bit ambiguous and didn't really tell me what to ... I came upon these chocolates in an Asda Supermarket at Christmas time when I was looking for Ferrero Rocher. I could not find the Ferrero Rocher which I buy often as a treat, so I thought that I would try Ferrero Rondnoir. Well, they are made by Ferrero, therefore I thought that they were bound to be good . However, these chocolates are dark chocolates and on the back of the dark brown and gold box they are described as "Fine Chocolate Covered Speciality With A Smooth Dark Chocolate Centre". The box is square with a picture of the chocolates on the front, back and sides of the box. Inside the box, is a gold tray, that contains twelve Ferrero Rondnoir ... Read the complete review
