I’m quite sure that I would be Gordon Ramsey’s worst nightmare. That’s fine because he’s probably mine, so I’d relish the idea of pouring scorn, or some other inferior condiment onto his over-priced cuisine. I have strange tastes in food, in that I’m one of the few people I know who doesn’t like spicy or hot food. But I do like herbs and strong flavours, which makes me rather difficult to please. I have, however, discovered something of a solution to this problem in the shape of the wonderful stuff that I am currently writing about. It was discovered on one of those shopping trips where you wander the aisles in search of unusual things and end up going home ...
