Basic Info: It cost around £1.00 and has 24g fat and 1g salt. It takes around 8-10 minutes to microwave (depending on power). This is a microwavable pasta dish with macaroni in a cheese sauce with a crumbly topping. My Review: I have to agree with the other reviewer for this Findus Macaroni Cheese, who found it a little bland. I used to buy these all the time and really liked the quick & easy 'cooking' time and the taste of the final product. OK, this isn't healthy food in the way a salad is, but for a quick no-nonsense tummy-filler it used to do the job. HOWEVER, I bought one from the supermarket a few days ago and zapped ... I always enjoyed Findus Macaroni Cheese so I bought a few when our local supermarket had them in stock for only 89p each, I heated one up for lunch today and this was the most TASTELESS and unappetising meal I have ever put on my plate, It claims to have a variety of cheeses in the dish but it was pale and anaemic looking, the pasta was sticky and the cheese sauce gloopy and tasteless, even after adding mustard garlic and salt and pepper it still lacked taste. Horrible product I will never buy this again. The remaining dishes are now in the rubbish.

As I have just had this for my Sunday night tea I thought I would review it. I love pasta (carbohydrate queen!) and I like cheese so this dish is perfect for me, its also great as I am not a big fan of cooking, I like ready meals (yes I am lazy and this has been mentioned in some of my other reviews) and as you can have this ready in less than ten minutes its a very quick meal to have if your in a hurry. I buy my Findus Macaroni Cheese from Iceland as they sell 2 400g boxes for £2 in a double pack so £1 per meal and its the right size for a main meal, its a bit too much for a snack or lunch though I feel, and as there is two my boyfriend normally ... As a vegetarian it's quite difficult to find ready meals when you just want a quick snack so I usually end up with old faithful macaroni cheese. This Findus variety is frozen and cooks in 8 minutes in the microwave or 40 minutes in the oven. The benefit of cooking it in the oven is you get the crispy topping crunchy not soggy as in the microwave. The box is bright yellow and red with a big picture of a plate of macaroni cheese on the front, the size is 360grams and it contains 520 calories per pack. The macaroni is made with fresh pasta which is then frozen instead of them using dried pasta, the sauce contains Mozzarella and Cheddar with Red Leicester on ... Read the complete review
