Findus Crispy Pancakes are a must-have for your freezer. They provide a quick, easy and tasty meal when you haven't the time to prepare anything from scratch. Many a time they have come to my rescue when Im in a rush and need to make a quick and easy tea. I generally serve them with potatoes and veg but they are pretty versatile and could be served with whatever you like. What you get is a minced beef and onion filling with gravy which is surprisingly succulent and not at all dry encased in a pancake exterior and covered in breadcrumbs. Findus Crispy Pancakes are a godsend! When you usually think of Pancakes most people think of sweet fillings such as ice cream or chocolate, etc. But Findus Crispy Pancakes actually come in three savoury fillings, Cheese, Chicken and Sweetcorn and Minced Beef. The Minced Beef ones are the ones I buy most often as my partner swears by them. They are reasonably cheap (I can usually find them on special offer for £1!) and they are also surprisingly filling. Findus 4 Pancakes Minced Beef 250g Although I make crepes all the time, I never actually thought of filling them with minced beef. Normally, I choose chocolate spread, jam, bananas, golden syrup and even cheese, but for some reason chicken and meat were not considered by me. This is why I wanted to try Minced Beef Findus Pancakes although the Three Cheese and the Chicken, Bacon & Sweetcorn pancakes were also available. I bought mine from Sainsbury's for £1.33, but I found later on that it could be found in Asda for £1.18.
