I praise the flora gods every time I use this little gem if a product
It think it's fantastic that flora has managed a product that does not compromise on taste for the reduction in calorific values
with only 20kcal per 10g serving, you can't go wrong. It's the lowest fast spread out there, and is so much better for you than butter and other reducded fat sreads e.g I can't believe it's not butter
It's not too pricy either, if you health consious, go for it!

I use the cheapest spreads that I can find because I tend to bake with it so refuse to pay over the odds when I am only chucking it in a white sauce or the like. The other day I was over at my mums and we decided to have a sandwich for our lunch. She wasn't feeling great so I made them. In her fridge which is full of name brand products was Flora light which is why I am reviewing it now! I was surprised at how yellow it was on opening the lid. I was really surprised at ... Read the complete review

I am quite prepared to stand corrected, but I think this spread is the lowest fat spread available. It is certainly the lowest fat I have ever found, and I have spent years scouring for low fat versions of everything. A 10g serving of Flora Extra Light contains 19 calories and 1.8g of fat (0.5 g saturates) that's only 18% fat. This really is a bonus if you are watching your weight. Flora Extra Light is distinguishable from the other varieties of flora spread as it is packaged in a mauve tub. A 500g tub will cost you around £2.25. There are a couple of things to point out. First of all this spread is somewhat different to other low fat spreads I ... Read the complete review

Flora Extra Light Spread.......... This low fat margarine has got to be the slimmers choice of butter substitute. This is because it is so low in fat and calories that I do believe it is the lowest fat spread on the market! I have been using this spread (when there is nothing else on special offer) for quite some time now due to the fact that they seem to have discontinue St Ivel Gold which is something I have used for many years. To be honest however I can't say I see that much difference when using this spread, The Flora Extra Light as with all the Flora margarine comes within a oblong type container with a lid that is easily popped ...
