After reading a review by carlmcq about these I just had to try them. I've tried the original Crunch Creams and he Ginger ones, but didn't know anything about these. So when in Tesco last night I got a pack. What made it better was that they were half price, so only cost 44p - bargain.
These are made by Fox's and come in a 200g pack. The pack is quite long and sort of thin. Only the bare minimum packaging on these, and the wrapper sticks to the Biscuits. I don't mind this, as don't see the need for loads of packaging. The pack is brown and the writing is in different bright colours against a cream coloured tag thing onto the pack. There is a picture of the Biscuits on the pack, but since these are Brown and against a Brown background then they don't stick out that well.
On the front it helpfully tells you the nutritional information per Biscuit. They have
73 calories
5.6g sugars
3.7g fat
2.1g saturates
0.15g salt
Now to the Biscuits, how are they? They are tasty. They are 2 circles of Crunchy, a little Oaty and Salty Biscuits and they are stuck together with hard Fidge Cream. On the pack it says that the Cream contains real Fudge pieces, but I couldn''t taste anything overly Fudge-y. I could taste a Cocoa type taste, but it wasn't overly strong, and just a nice flavouring.
These are a step up from the original ones. They are a little bit more-ish and just really nice. I ate the pack in 2 sittings, which was really easy to do, even though you thought that the next Biscuit was the last one, I always reached for another one.
I will buy these again.
