I've had one of those weekends when I felt a bit in need of cheering up, and luckily we had some Fox's Classic biscuits in the cupboard which seem to at least partly do the trick as they are rather tasty and a little bit indulgent! You can buy these lovely chocolate bars in packets of eight which at the moment cost £1.19 in Sainsburys. I think this is pretty good value as it makes them work out at just about 15 pence per biscuit. The packaging has a picture of a very tempting bar on the front and the description that these are 'crumbly honeycomb biscuits covered in real milk chocolate'. We also discover that each biscuit contains 130 calories which, ... Read the complete review

Well these Autumn nights are definitely seeing all the naughty comfort foods appearing in my shopping basket. Who puts them there, God knows. I do know who eats them all though. Many of the individually wrapped chocolate biscuits that I seem to be buying are made by Fox's. They certainly seem to have cornered the market a little and have been around for years. Classic chocolate biscuits have probably only been around about 20 years. Relative newcomers to the biccie fan clubs then. Fox's Classic biscuits are sold in multi packs. I think they are occasionally sold individually at canteens and the like. I purchased a pack of nine biscuits for £1.19 at ... Read the complete review

I love to dunk biscuits into my tea, be it chocolate or plain, wafers or mallows - you can almost guarantee that whatever biscuit I am happily chomping alongside my over-sized mug of tea will most likely end up going head first into said mug for a good old dunk... This is probably one of my favourite hobbies! Because of this 'hobby' of mine, it is no surprise that I most definitely buy too many biccies. I have my favourites, and I suppose that most people do, but i find that one biscuit that I keep going back to is the 'Classic' bar by Fox's biscuits. The bars are packaged in a smart and impressive-looking navy blue coloured wrapper, with gold ... Read the complete review

A fox's classic bar is one that I have only recently tried and I was pleasantly surprised to find yet another chocolate bar to add to the already huge list that I am a fan of! A classic bar is two honeycomb biscuits which are sandwiched together with buttercream and then covered in milk chocolate before being individually wrapped and sold as part of a multipack. I purchased a packet of 9 for £1.00 from my local Poundland store and this seems to be a regular item in store as I've seen it for a fair few months now before being offered on to try by my Mum & being tempted in to picking up a pack. The biscuit is very crunchy and although you can't ... Read the complete review

I was browsing the supermarket the other day looking for a chocolate treat. I spied the Fox's classic bars on half price offer at just over 60p for seven. This made them a good buy as usually they are about £1.30 for the packet. Immediately I had noticed the packaging has changed from when I used to eat them regularly a couple of years ago. In the past they were designed to look classic and posh with dark blue packaging and gold/white lettering. Now they are in a brighter blue packaging and sport more bold patches of colour and lettering on the front of the packets. I think I prefer the original packaging but all things change. As long as the ... Read the complete review
